Key Milestones
We expanded our From Shelter to Service Dog program
We expanded our From Shelter to Service Dog program to a second location with the announcement of our partnership with Atlanta Humane Society. This growth allows us to train more shelter dogs, increasing our capacity to transform overlooked dogs into life-changing Service Dogs for people with disabilities.
Service Dog placements rose 21% since last year
This growth is a testament to the growing impact of our programs. Among these placements, we reached the highest number of active Autism Assistance Dog teams in our history, demonstrating our growing capacity to meet the unique needs of children and families navigating autism with support from a professionally trained Service Dog.
Our monthly giving program, The Pack, grew by 23% since last year.
Pack members strengthen the foundation of our mission. This reliable support ensures we can plan ahead with confidence, train more dogs, and reach even more individuals in need—month after month, year after year.

Training More Shelter Dogs
The From Shelter to Service Dog program launched in 2023 with Operation Kindness in Carrollton, TX, where it has already resulted in multiple successful Service Dog placements. Our expansion of the program with Atlanta Humane will enable DBL to increase the number of shelter dogs trained and placed nationwide.
