Falmouth, MA – Dogs for Better Lives (DBL) has experienced unprecedented growth of our Northeast Training Campus since opening its doors in April of 2022. In response to this growth, Dogs for Better Lives staff will be transitioning the facility to a full-time training campus for our Service Dogs beginning in January 2024.

When DBL initially acquired the campus in Falmouth, Massachusetts in 2021, the goal was to establish a temporary Boarding & Daycare facility as we progressively expanded our nonprofit operations in the region. The expansion has been a huge success. We have several future Service Dogs who will be turning into the Northeast Campus for their professional training early in 2024.

Our amazing donors, volunteers, and staff have made this growth in the Northeast Region possible, and this transition will allow us to direct all our resources and energy towards our core mission of training and placing Assistance Dogs, thereby making an even more profound impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.

The position we find ourselves in today is a testament to the collective success of our entire Dogs for Better Lives community. We have not only surpassed our initial projections for the number of Puppy Raisers in the Northeast but have also made remarkable strides in the growth of our breeding program and the recruitment of skilled Apprentice Trainers in the region.

Thank you to our donors, volunteers and staff who have helped propel us to this remarkable stage of growth and progress. We look forward to growth in the Northeast as we embark on this next chapter of our journey at Dogs for Better Lives.
