CarrieJo, Petey & Banjo
Dogs for Better Lives’ Board Member CarrieJo will present her recipe for Teenie Sweet Treats, that features sweet potato and is portion-perfect for smaller dogs.
“Petey, Banjo, and I are proud to support Dogs for Better Lives’ mission of helping make independence possible for people with disabilities by supporting Assistance Dogs. We’ve been in the kitchen testing, creating, and sampling a treat that your furry friend will love!”
Dr. Danielle Rose and Alicia Shue
Dogs for Better Lives’ Board Chair Dr. Danielle Rose is paired up with her colleague, Alicia Shue. Dr. Rose has a DBL Hearing Assistance Dog, Delight, and Alicia has a DBL Facility Dog, Rolanda. Their Blueberry Dog Treats are made with oat flour and a tasty blueberry puree that will surely delight your pup!
“Our Dogs for Better Lives dogs work so well together, especially for homemade treats! We love this fundraiser that helps support other service and facility dog teams!”
Lois Malone
Lois is sharing her recipe for PBH Doggie Treats, which has a secret ingredient that your pup will be “bacon” for!
“I am owner of Master Stitch based in Medford Oregon. We’ve been donating to Dogs for Better Lives for a number of years. We love the fact that these dogs can help people’s lives that have autism or hearing issues. We also love the fact that these dogs can come from shelters that may not have had a good life. Now these dogs are now out there helping people making their lives so much better.”
Michele Roeder-Latimer
Michele’s recipe is sure to have your pups begging for more. She will be presenting her recipe for Parker’s Peanut Butter and Jelly Biscotti. These tasty and crunchy treats are complete with a homemade berry jam that will wow your pup.
“I’ve learned from personal experience how a dog can change one’s life. After experiencing a sudden loss of consciousness while home alone, I knew I wanted a dog for security and confidence. Parker came home with us when she was 8 weeks old and she has changed my life forever. This year I will turn 55 years old, and I have chosen to give back – ‘doing good for good’ – for organizations like Dogs for Better Lives.”
