5 Prison Puppy Raising graduates were successfully placed with clients.
These graduates represent the dedication of both the incarcerated handlers and the DBL trainers who work tirelessly to ensure each dog is ready to serve. Their placements provide clients with newfound independence, companionship, and confidence, proving that second chances can create extraordinary outcomes for both dogs and people.
160 active Service Dog teams—the highest number in DBL history!
This incredible milestone reflects the growth of our programs and the increasing impact we’re making together. Each active team represents a powerful partnership that improves the lives of clients, from providing hearing alerts to supporting individuals with autism and other disabilities.
$33,000+ was raised on Giving Tuesday, meeting our goal on this international day of giving.
These funds go directly toward Service Dog placement costs, covering training, veterinary care, and ongoing support for our clients and their dogs. Every dollar raised ensures that more people can receive the assistance of a Service Dog without financial barriers, making this milestone critical for empowering lives in 2025.
