Dogs for Better Lives (DBL) is proud to return as a charity partner in the 53rd annual Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 17th. This marks our fourth consecutive year with a DBL team participating in the iconic seven-mile race through the scenic streets of Falmouth, Massachusetts.

This year, 12 dedicated runners are representing DBL in support of our life-changing Service Dogs. Each member of the team has committed to raising at least $1,500, with a collective team goal of $18,000 — all to support the training, placement, and lifelong follow-up of DBL dogs.

We are deeply grateful to our runners, not only for the hard work and dedication they’ve shown while training for race day, but also for their efforts to spread the word about DBL’s mission and inspire others to give. Their passion and advocacy make an enormous difference for the people and dogs we serve.

As an added boost, we’re aiming to match every dollar raised by our runners. You can donate directly to help fund the $18,000 match that encourages our runners and doubles their impact. Just visit dogsforbetterlives.org/donate and include a note in the “notes about this gift” field that your donation is in support of the Falmouth Match.

As a member of the Falmouth community — home to our Northeast Training Campus — DBL is honored to be part of this celebrated race that brings people together in the name of perseverance, purpose, and community spirit.

Every dollar raised by our runners helps us prepare more dogs to support people with disabilities, whether they need a Hearing Assistance Dog, Autism Assistance Dog, or Facility Dog.

Thank you for supporting our runners, and for helping Dogs for Better Lives create more independence, connection, and confidence — one step at a time.
