CENTRAL POINT, OR – Dogs for Better Lives (DBL) is thrilled to announce that with the incredible support of over 100 donors, we successfully met our $30,000 Giving Tuesday goal! Thanks to a generous $15,000 matching gift, every donation was doubled, ensuring that our future Service Dogs are well on their way to making a life-changing impact.
Building on this momentum, DBL is launching an exciting year-end fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $150,000 to fully fund three new Service Dogs for placement in 2025. To support this effort, multiple generous donors have pledged a $75,000 matching gift, meaning every dollar given by December 31 will be matched, doubling its impact.
“Thanks to our community’s generosity on Giving Tuesday, we’re energized to finish the year strong,” said Sara Ifert, VP of Marketing at DBL. “Each Service Dog we place represents hope, independence, and a brighter future for someone in need. Together, we can make that a reality for three individuals or families in 2025.”
How You Can Help
Each DBL Service Dog requires more than $50,000 in resources, including veterinary care, specialized training, placement costs, and ongoing follow-ups to ensure a successful partnership. With your support, we can provide these life-changing dogs at no cost to the recipients.
