Thank you for all you do to support Dogs for Better Lives. In this toolkit, you’ll find the resources you need to help expand the reach of our Giving Tuesday and Year-End Campaigns. A significant portion of our donation revenue for the year comes during the last 6 weeks of the year, starting with Giving Tuesday. During this giving season, we appreciate your help spreading the word about our campaigns with your personal and professional networks – especially on social media.
Giving Tuesday & Year-End Campaign Social Media Toolkit
Fundraising Goal: $30,000
BACKGROUND:
On Tuesday, November 28th, DBL will participate in Giving Tuesday – a global day of giving that continues to grow every year.
Thanks to a generous donor match, all gifts made to Dogs for Better Lives on Giving Tuesday are DOUBLED – up to $15,000. The match applies to all gifts made online that day, including cryptocurrency donations, gifts made through Give Now, Pay Later, and online donations through our social media, email, or website channels.
Gifts on Giving Tuesday will support our Prison Puppy Raising Program!
The biggest thing you can do is to share our social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram with your own network on Giving Tuesday!

Fundraising goal: Raise $200,000 for Prison Puppy Raising Program and From Shelter to Service Dog Program.
BACKGROUND:
A group of generous donors have come together to match – dollar for dollar – every gift we receive by 12/31… up to $100,000. These funds will support the growth of our two newest programs in 2024: From Shelter to Service Dog – a unique partnership in Texas that allows us to train more shelter dogs to become Service Dogs, and the Prison Puppy Raising Program – a new program in Ohio that enhances the lives of incarcerated individuals and makes it possible to place more dogs with people on the wait list to receive a Service Dog.
