This rating, the highest honor available from the nation’s largest and most respected independent charity evaluator, reaffirms DBL’s dedication to financial transparency, accountability, and efficient use of resources to support our mission.
With only 2% of the evaluated nonprofits achieving at least 10 consecutive 4-star ratings, DBL is in a select group of organizations whose excellence and financial responsibility continue to build donor confidence. This recognition highlights DBL’s dedication to using every dollar in a way that maximizes impact.
As a result of our longstanding endowment funded by our Guardian Society donors, DBL covers administrative and fundraising expenses, allowing 100% of public donations to be allocated directly to programmatic services. This approach ensures that every dollar given by our supporters helps to advance our mission of rescuing, breeding, training, and placing Assistance Dogs in Hearing, Autism, and Facility Dog roles—all at no cost to the clients we serve.
