Many of us know someone whose life has been impacted by hearing loss, autism, anxiety or grief. Dogs for Better Lives rescues and professionally trains dogs to help people who need a Hearing Dog, an Autism Assistance Dog, or a Facility Dog. Rescue a dog, change two lives.

Other Ways To Give Back

We love helping dogs and people lead better lives. Thankfully, Dogs for Better Lives has a special group of dedicated people who share our passion.

You can change lives for as little as 33 cents a day by joining our team of Helping Paws. Your monthly gift will support the daily needs of our dogs-in-training, such as initial vet visits, premium dog food, leashes, and collars. And for just 10 dollars a day, you can help us rescue and transport a dog from a shelter!

Your gift will help us all year long – it’s a gift that keeps on giving.

How a Planned Gift Can Benefit You and Make a Lifetime Impact

Did you know one of the special ways you can donate to Dogs for Better Lives is through your estate? You can make a gift that costs nothing during your lifetime.

Planned gifts help generous individuals make larger gifts than they could make from their income. While some planned gifts provide a life-long income to the donor, others use estate and tax planning techniques to provide for charity and other heirs in ways that maximize the gift and/or minimize its impact on the donor’s estate.

Your Planned Gift can:

  • change several lives by turning Under Dogs into WONDER Dogs
  • earn you immediate tax benefits and income through your lifetime
  • achieve personal finance goals, while helping Dogs for Better Lives
  • reduce or eliminate taxes on capital gains and federal estate taxes
  • take care of your loved ones

Planning your estate and legacy for future generations, including your charitable interests, takes careful evaluation. Consulting with the appropriate professionals can help. Discussing your charitable intentions with us can lead to a much better result than going it alone – and it will ensure that your gift is used just as you wish. We can give you valuable information about any of the creative giving techniques mentioned in our Planned Giving section.

Our Field of Memories Garden, located on our beautiful grounds at the base of Lower Table Rock, provides a unique way to honor a loved one or pet. “I think the Field of Memories is a grand idea to remember your best friends who have passed on to the Rainbow Bridge.” ~ Pam H. California
